Honest Piano is built by Mikey Wolf LLC. The app's promise is simple: open the app, play piano. That promise extends to your privacy.

The short version

 

Honest Piano collects no data. None. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no ads, no third-party services. We couldn't sell or lose your data even if we wanted to, because we never receive any.

 

What the app stores

 

Your settings — instrument choice, key labels, touch preferences, volume — are saved only on your device, using Apple's standard on-device storage. They never leave your phone or iPad. Deleting the app deletes them.

 

Purchases

 

The one-time Full Piano unlock is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your name, payment details, or Apple ID. Apple's handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's own privacy policy. The app checks your purchase status directly with Apple so your unlock works across reinstalls and on your other devices.

 

What we don't do

 

• No analytics or usage tracking of any kind

• No advertising, and no advertising identifiers

• No third-party SDKs or data-sharing partners

• No account creation, email collection, or sign-in

• No access to your microphone, camera, contacts, location, or photos

• No network connections except Apple's own App Store services

 

Children

 

Honest Piano is rated 4+ and is safe for children: since the app collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children.

 

Changes to this policy

 

If a future version of the app ever changes any of the above, we'll update this page and the effective date before that version ships. Given what this app is, we don't expect to.
